David Watts re-elected as Notts Lib Dem Chair

At tonights annual general meeting of the Chair of the Nottinghamshire and Nottingham Lib Dem co-ordinating committee. This committee oversees and supports the work of the Liberal Democrats across Nottinghamshire. This will be Cllr Watts third year as chair. Cllr Watts said:

"I am deeply honoured that my colleagues have asked me to continue on as chair of our County Committee. With elections across the county and city this May, together with the government pushing their agenda for a regional mayor, this is a really important moment and I'm looking forward to seeing the Lib-Dems take a big step forward in Nottinghamshire."
